Tu as suivi le Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny?
- The Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny System has been re-enabled!
- A new system is now available to run during Qualifying Sessions to help prevent unrealistic preparation exploits. Generally speaking, the officials expect a driver to pull out under control, get up to speed relatively quickly, and complete their qualifying laps in a timely and controlled manner. In an Open Qualifying Session, some accommodations for slowing are made based on proximity to other racers.
- The Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny system first applies a furled Black Flag as a warning to drivers who have not been compliant with the expectations. If the behavior continues, a Black Flag will be issued and the driver will be disqualified from the Qualifying Session.
- - A furled Black Flag warning will be reset when leaving the car, resetting it to the pits, or completing the current lap. However, this does not clear the warning - a second violation will trigger a disqualification from the Qualifying Session.
- There are several levels of strictness available for the Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny system. The more strictly the system is being administered, the less leeway is granted to the racers before warnings and penalties are issued.
- - The levels of Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny available are: Off, Permissive, Lenient, Moderate, Strict, and Severe.
- - The strictness level of Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny is customizable for User-Created Sessions from both the iRacing BETA UI and the Classic Membersite.
- - For official sessions, this feature will initially only be applied to select high-level Series.
- Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny is only available for use and is only applied for Qualifying sessions at asphalt tracks. There is no effect on tracks partially or completely composed of dirt racing surfaces.
- Qualifying Conduct Scrutiny information for an event is visible in the Simulator in the Info tab under "RACE STATUS". This also includes loaded Replays.
- The admin command: "!clear #" may be used to remove a Qualification Conduct Scrutiny disqualification Black Flag.

CARS:
Audi RS 3 LMS
- Vehicle branding has been updated.
Dirt Midget
- Some paint patterns have been adjusted.
TRACKS:
North Wilkesboro Speedway
- NEW TRACK!
- - North Wilkesboro Speedway, an asphalt oval, has been added to the digital landscape of iRacing!
- - - The dream of North Wilkesboro Speedway began in the mid-1940s, when Enoch Staley found inspiration in a stock car race that Bill France had promoted in South Carolina before the formation of NASCAR. The story goes that Staley and his partners ran out of money to create their perfect oval, leaving the track with an uphill slope on the backstretch, and a downhill slope to the finish. Such was born one of the most unique short tracks in NASCAR history, a .625-mile oval that hosted the premier Cup Series twice a year until 1996. From the second that last checkered flag fell, race fans have clamored for the return of North Wilkesboro, and now they'll get their chance to actually drive it on iRacing. The track has been digitally restored to its 1987 state, giving iRacers the opportunity to go back in time and relive the iconic North Carolina short track as it existed in its heyday.
- - Add a piece of history to your iRacing content! Purchase North Wilkesboro Speedway from the iRacing Store here:

- Several vehicle setups have been updated for this track.
Doute: Tony Gardner -> Update Long Beach de tech track à finalisé.
Possible: BMW M4 GT4
Rumeur: Nicki Thiim -> Aston Martin (GT3/GTE)
"The 6th car isn't an Aston or any form of GTE or GT3 car. On the car production side, we aren't working on an Aston Martin. That doesn't mean that we haven't licensed one, etc. I don't always know what is going on licensing wise until it gets to the point where I need to know."

We have a great quarterly software update coming in less than two weeks with three all-new road cars and three all-new oval cars. We also have a bunch of other significant advancements coming in the update. We are pretty excited! More videos are coming. (For new members, we do a fairly significant software update every three months that often includes new content, new features, improvements, bug fixes, etc.)
We have not said much about our road course plans recently. In this software update, we have a significant update to Road America. Screenshots and or video coming. We also have a complete upgrade to Kentucky for oval folks.
Back to road/street courses, I will confirm we are working on Long Beach. I don’t know when it will release; it is a massive project, which is why we never finished it. It is the version of Long Beach, basically that is sold as a Tech Track on iRacing. It is an excellent time to do it with the Corona Virus clamping the world down. We also are about ready to announce a significant European road track. We are wrapping up the license and scan data and should be able to announce it in two weeks or less. It will be a priority to start work on it immediately.
I should mention international road tracks are a priority in general. We have a great target list. We are continuing to ramp up our development capabilities to get to more of them. Between the licensing and development, they do take longer and are generally bigger projects overall in just about every sense. Not to make excuses, but the Corona Virus has not helped. We have canceled multiple international and domestic scan trips that were already scheduled.
We also are working on more dirt content and oval content. I will share another piece of news for road folks; we are working on a new LMP2 car, it will not be in this build, however. Let’s keep smiling, and I want to thank every member for all the support!!!
I also want to welcome all the new members. We have had thousands of them recently!
Good racing, and stay safe!
On verra bien !
