et je veux me convaincre qu'il n'y a pas de cheat sur Iracing.
Je pense qu'ils devraient virer pour le moment les dégâts sur les roues (ou plutot remettre l'ancien ) dans le new damage model car il semble que ce soit surtout ça qui pose problème.

Tu as un fichier de télémétrie qui se créé chaque fois que tu rentres dans la voiture et que tu en ressors.
Donc tu ressens les saccades même dans ton casque. La reprojection est bien sur 'on' dans SteamVR?
Il faudrait repasser tous tes réglages en détails mais j'ai le souvenir qu'on l'avait déjà fait et que tout allait mieux depuis...?! Ca va donc plus....

Si on pouvait justement avoir la M6 avant qu'elle ne soit mise de côté, pour remplacer la Z4 vieillissant, ce serait bien aussi.
@Driver C'est chaque année pareil l'été... l'activité sur iRacing chute assez bien. Par contre avec le covid cette année, il y a beaucoup moins de terrasses, bbq et cie...
Hockenheimring Coming to iRacing
iRacing is pleased to announce a new deal that will bring the Hockenheimring to the simulator in the coming months. Originally built in 1932 and redesigned for 2002, Hockenheim has played host to dozens of German Grands Prix over the years. Due to the circumstances of the global COVID-19 pandemic and our inability to do many data collection trips for previously planned projects, iRacing has acquired high-quality third-party scan data and photos in order to build this track. This allows us to get working on Hockenheim in the very near future.
The Hockenheimring joins a number of circuits that are currently in full production at iRacing, including Weedsport Raceway, Crandon International Raceway, the streets of Long Beach, Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway, and Coca-Cola Superspeedway. Along with these tracks, iRacing is also working on the design of new rallycross courses.
This Patch includes updates and fixes for the 2020 Season 3 Release.

New Damage Model
- Adjustments have been made to improve the New Damage Model on opponent cars, so that it more quickly matches the actual state recorded by the server.
- - Most damage states received from the server are now applied to opponent cars immediately.
- - The exception to this are damage states that would reattach wheels or car parts.
- - - In these cases, the damage state change can be delayed. The reattachment of wheels or car parts will be delayed if the force involved in breaking the part was above a threshold. There is a low and a high threshold with separate delay times. More severe impacts will cause a longer delay, minor impacts will have no delay.
- Fixed an issue where some car-on-car contacts were not creating incidents correctly.
- Fixed an issue where Replays featuring cars that had the New Damage Model at the time and have since been reverted were not loading correctly.
- - Now, whenever loading a Replay, the Simulator will always use the New Damage Model car if that car had ever used it before.
- The allowable hyper-extended distance for the front wheels on all stockcars has been reduced to prevent wheels popping through the hood.
- The allowable hyper-extended distance for the wheels on all open-wheeled cars has been reduced to prevent some odd flipping behavior.
- Hyper-extended suspension will now be reset when a vehicle with this issue enters a pit stall.
- This reset, and possible car hop, should only trigger when there is a hyper extended wheel.

- Removed a restriction in the Graphics Settings that prevented negative monitor bezel widths.

J'ai fait quelques tours en Medium DF sur Spa... et puis j'ai enchainé sur un practice officiel (c'est Okoyama).
Là, c'est plutôt High DF (et racourcir un peu la boite), un peu plus de frein à l'arrière. Ca reste délicat parfois à l'accélération e, sortie du T1 et à la réaccélération dans le droite qui monte.
(bon c'est p'tet nul comme chrono, j'en sais rien... mais ça commençait à venir )
iRacing Grand Prix Car Change | McLaren MP4-30
"The McLaren MP4-30 will be returning to the iRacing Grand Prix Series beginning with the September build for Season 4.
This car has had a major overhaul including our most updated tire and is a significant upgrade over the previous version of the car. I can personally attest to how much fun it is to drive now. While the updates are not yet released to members, you will see improvement on the level of how much the Formula 3.5 was updated in this patch.
To proactively answer your question, no we are not in a position to offer 2 series with F1 cars at this time. We will however use the Williams community to set the schedule for Season 4 still though.

Quand à moi bien sur j'ai testé la bête sur Gilles Villeneuve.
Un vrai plaisir, je ne sais pas si c'est plus réaliste ou pas par rapport à avant, mais elle est moins délicate , moins punitive c'est super agréable.
Ce que je trouve plus réaliste c'est qu'a faible vitesse elle est plus collée à la route ce qui vu la dimension des pneumatiques est quand même un minimum.
J'ai toujours des µsaccades, c'est selon le circuit, le passage devant et derrière les stands de Lime Rock, Nurb et de Spa, principalement.
C'est certain que RaceApp me prend de la ressource, ce que je n'ai jamais remarqué avec SODE. C'est dommage si je dois couper RaceApp pour gagner en fluidité, car cette overlay, m'aide à décider de ma stratégie en fonction des iRating et compagnie.
Je vais enlever les stands pour voir, mais j'ai les boules si c'est la solution....
J'avais pas relancé Steam VR depuis perpette... je ne savais pas qu'ils avaient changé l'interface. Essaye l'ancien mode de reprojection pour comparer. La reprojection, c'est en principe l'équivalent de l'ASW pour le rift.... autrement dit quand tu es en dessous de 90FPS, la reprojection t'aidera à maintenir les 90FPS en interpolant les frames manquantes (interpolation). Avec l'ASW, si je tombe sous les 90FPS, je ne le sens pas...
J'ai voulu faire le test hier soir mais j'étais physiquement trop crevé...
De mon côté l'ASW se met en marche dans l'outlap où je suis dans le peloton et un peu dans le tour 1. mais il n'y a plus qu'une voiture devant. Mais l'ASW pour moi, c'est sans effet (comprendre, à 45 FPS iRacing, ça reste 90FPS dans le casque sans que l'on ne sente quoi que ce soit).
Comment savoir qu'elles sont les réglages qui sont pris en compte ou non sans redémarrage?
Pour faire les tests... bah c'est à toi de les faire même si ça ve te prendre du temps. Tu pars avec des settings les plus bas, et tu remontes les options au fur et à mesure en fonction de tes priorités.

Comparé à mon 9:01, j'ai envi de pleurer, enfin non, car maintenant avec ce nouveau réglage, je suis en 8:58
Mais dans le premier tour, quand tu vois les stands de derrière, j'ai encore des µsaccades. Ayant mis les mêmes réglages que toi, je vais baisser la résolution des stands, car ma philo, c'est la Vitesse!
Et a quoi penses tu ?
- Tu fais un essai sans VR... oui oui avec un bon vieil écran
- Tu fais un test en mettant tous au plus bas dans iRacing (tu redémarres)
De manière générale, fais chaque fois des captures d'écran de tes réglages, donne des infos.... car souvent on doit te tirer les vers du nez
(Version du driver Nvidia, as-tu bien mis les réglages par défaut, photos de tes réglages bios, copie des fichiers app.ini et rendererdx11.ini, as-tu lancé un auto-config lors de la dernière build, etc. etc. Bref toutes des infos qui peuvent aider).
