The only thing which is dirty here is the low price of the DD1. We probably will raise it after the pre-order period. And please don't forget the killswitch which is included in the DD2.
iRacing
- The settings below are considered to be reasonable baseline values for iRacing (PC). They might not suit all tastes and driving styles, but they are a good starting point. Bear in mind that iRacing uses a dynamic physics engine covering a broad range of cars and tracks, meaning that these settings might not be 'optimal' for every possible driving scenario.
- The values below refer to standard iRacing FFB settings. iRFFB is an interesting alternative that can add more detail at the expense of a small increase in latency; more information can be found on the iRFFB thread on the iRacing forum: http://members.iracing.com/jforum/posts/list/3552959.page
- If you use the 'auto' button, iRacing will try to maximise the use of the torque target, but this is not recommended unless you only use one car (if you use the same 'auto' FFB on all cars, every car will output the same steering torque, and you will lose some of the feeling of variety between car types).

RaceRoom
- The settings below are considered to be reasonable baseline values for RaceRoom (PC). They might not suit all tastes and driving styles, but they are a good starting point. Bear in mind that RaceRoom uses a dynamic physics engine covering a broad range of cars and tracks, meaning that these settings might not be 'optimal' for every possible driving scenario.
- Automatic wheel range adjustment in RaceRoom can only be achieved when SEN is set to Auto (AUT) and you have enabled 'Match Setup' in Vehicle Settings>Steering Animation. It is important to set the SEN value to 'Auto' BEFORE you start a session. Note that the wheel will only rotate correctly through the first 360 degrees of the wheel range if you have driver arms enabled (but the true wheel range will still be functional). If you set Driver Animation to 'Wheel Only', then the wheel will display correctly through the full wheel range.
- The resulting output from these baseline settings is conservative when using the default 'per car' Steering Settings. The strength varies significantly by vehicle, therefore it is worth checking the in-game Clipping Meter, and adjusting the FFB Multiplier value accordingly. In doing so you can maximise the dynamic range of the FFB but lose some of the feeling of variety between car types.

- The software is in an 'Early Access' beta, so controller settings are not final.
- In order to make use of the Multi-Position Switches of the CSL Elite Steering Wheel McLaren GT3 and ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 2018 / Formula V2 wheels, the base needs to be in V2.5 Compatibility Mode and the 'McLaren GT3' preset needs to be loaded in the ACC controller menu.
- Please ensure you are using the latest wheel base firmware.
