With the release of so much new content, there are updates that will be made to multiple series on the road side of the ladder.
IMSA- moves from C to B per earlier announcement.
- The Audi R8 GT3 and the Mercedes AMG GT3 will no longer run in this series but can still be found in the VRS GT3 Sprint and
Endurance Series’.
- The NEW Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO will join the IMSA ranks immediately and the NEW BMW M4 GT3 will join in a couple of weeks to fill out the IMSA field. No other vehicles will change.
VRS GT3 Sprint and Endurance Series
- There will be no BMW at the start of the season.
- The NEW BMW M4 GT3 will replace the BMW Z4 GT3. AT THE RELEASE (not with the build) of the BMW M4 GT3, the BMW Z4 GT3 will become a Legacy product and the price will be dropped to $2.95.
- The NEW Lamborghini Huracan GT3 EVO will be added as the 7th car to these series.
Dallara Formula iR
- This series will make its debut at the C license to give the maximum number of members an opportunity to experience the amazing car. We may revisit that classification at a later date.
- These cars will race at Grand Prix tracks all over the world in races that are ~200 km in length and will feature track specific custom competitive setups. Additional details on the spec of the World Championship series will be announced at a later date.
- This car is significantly more approachable than many high level vehicles on the service and our testing showed it should make for great racing at the C license level.
Other changes to note:
- ILMS and ELMS will become the European Sprint Series and European Endurance Series respectively. These series, as previously announced, will debut at the A license level.

Bon sinon Long Beach.... Wow la modélisation de Long Beach est impressionante... 1,3Go pour le circuit. En mode TV pour regarder toutes les constructions... le boulot a été énorme. La fontaine, les fleurs, la grande roue, les buildings, les alentours, etc.
Bonne nouvelle, je tiens les 90 FPS (vérifié sous MoTeC)... et il est loin le Tech Track.
Je ne me rappelais plus du slow down au T1 si on coupait la ligne de sortie des stands
Et une petite dizaines de tours avec la Lambo.
Pour la Lambo, je préfère l'affichage de nuit de l'écran. Evidemment elle a le son de la R8... mais les pétarades/explosions sont cool vu de derrière. J'ai juste essayé un setup sprint de base.... Quand elle décroche, pas si simple à rattraper.
On a droit à un petit 'A' sur la fenêtre.
J'ai essayé les compétitifs setup mid et high de la Lambo... Bah c'est pas mal comme base. Ca va faire plaisir à beaucoup.
Donne 1 million d'euros à un français et il trouvera quand meme un moyen de râler 😂

- Scrollbars have been updated.

Licenses
- The cross-license icon will now only appear on events which are cross-license.
Race Now
- Fixed two issues with the action button for each event in the Schedule Tab of a Series:
- - They now correctly say "Drive Now" instead of "Race Now".
- - They now correctly utilize the associated week's content for both the Test Drive and Create a Hosted Race options instead of always using the current week's content.
3D Car Viewer
- Fixed an issue where the 3D Car Viewer could malfunction when UI Scaling was set to any value other than 100%.
- Fixed an issue where the 3D Car Viewer would display in an incorrect color space when displayed on an HDR screen.
MEMBERSITE:
- Fixed an issue where users were not being allowed to join a Session if they did now own all cars in the car class being used. Users need only own at least one car in the car class being used in order to join that Session.
SIMULATION:

General
- The iRacing UI now features a "Safe Mode" for users that might be having some rendering issues with their iRacing UI.
- - The UI can enable Safe Mode for users that are having problems with the UI not rendering correctly. By default the UI will analyze the GPU settings as it starts and will automatically decide if it should start in Safe Mode. If it decides to start in Safe Mode, you will be shown an error message with further information.
- - Safe Mode fixes an issue for users without Hardware Acceleration. The issue was appearing as a large black or white rectangle instead of displaying the iRacing UI.
- - While Safe Mode is enabled, users will not be able to render content in the 3D Model Viewer.
- - - If you wish to manually override this setting, you may change the "uiSafeMode" setting under the "[Graphics DX11]" section in the "app.ini" file. Automatic (0), On (1), or Off (2).
- A Gift Card link has been added to the side-bar.
Hosted Sessions
- The logic for loading, displaying, filtering, and creating Hosted Sessions has been optimized.
- - These changes should reduce your load times and refresh rates, and increase the speed that the page updates, even during heavily populated times.
- Fixed an issue where the "Purchase" button for a Session was not changing to the "Update" button once the content was purchased.
3D Car Viewer
- Improved object positioning and camera field-of view to work better with very wide aspect ratios.
- Fixed an issue where the 3D models were not automatically updating specular maps.

- Fixed an issue where force feedback was stopping when SimRacingStudio was launched.
- - This change may also fix the issue with SteamVR stopping our FFB at launch. This fix causes a momentary loss of steering input when the issue arises, this should only happen at Sim startup, but if for some reason that causes you trouble you can disable it by setting [Force Feedback] resetWhenFFBLost=0 in the app.ini file.

BMW M4 GT3 - Prototype

- - iRacing's renewed focus on GT3 content continues with an early release of the BMW M4 GT3 that will make its real-world racing debut in 2021. Revealed at BMW Sim Live in early December, the new car will compete in GT3 series around the world in the coming years, and will also run in iRacing's corresponding official series and special events. The BMW M4 GT3 is a pre-release version of the BMW M4 GT3 that will be made available to iRacing members in the weeks after the 2021 Season 1 build. The car succeeds the BMW Z4 GT3 as the second BMW to join iRacing's GT3 offerings. In the coming months, the in-development car will shed the Beta label for all members, receiving a comprehensive set of updates to match its final real-world form.
